ACE FREHLEY Schedules 'Record Store Day' Signing Session In Hollywood

April 18, 2009

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley will take part in a signing session at Amoeba Music in Hollywood, California on "Record Store Day" (Saturday, April 18). The event will begin at 3:00 p.m.

The details are as follows:

Amoeba Music
6400 Sunset Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90018
323.245.6400

"Record Store Day" celebrates the continued existence of independent record stores, mostly through live in-store appearances, performances and special limited-edition releases that will only be sold through participating stores on the day itself, which is April 18 this year.

Commented Frehley: "In honor of Record Store Day, I'm gonna hit Amoeba Records in Hollywood and do some vinyl and CD shopping. The good folks at Amoeba asked if I'd sign some autographs and say hello to everyone. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?! I'll be there at 3:00 p.m. Come down and say hi. And don't forget to support your local record store!!!"

Ace Frehley's new solo album, "Anomaly", is tentatively due later in the year. The CD was produced and recorded in Westchester County, New York between 2007 and 2009 and was mixed by Marti Frederiksen, who has previously worked with AEROSMITH and DEF LEPPARD, among many others.

Frehley last year spent time on the road fronting a band that featured second guitarist Derrek Hawkins, drummer Scot Coogan (ex-BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION) and bassist Anthony Esposito (ex-LYNCH MOB).
