AEROSMITH Frontman Honkin' On Open Road With 'American Choppers'

October 19, 2004

BostonHerald.com is reporting that AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler, refusing to be "sick to his stomach" during yet another Red Sox squeaker this past weekend, took to the open road in Florida with the superstar bike builders from "American Chopper".

"They are great, great guys," the rocker told BostonHerald.com's Inside Track. "We picked them up (in New York) and flew down to Florida, and we talked for three hours on the way down. They're building me a bike."

Tyler (photo) and the tough-talkin' Teutels from the Discovery Channel put some serious miles on their choppers cruising from Daytona to St. Augustine in the 10th Annual Ride For Children, a benefit for Paul Newman's Camp Boggy Creek.

"We raised $750,000 for the camp," the singer said. "I got up and played 'Pink' on a guitar, and they sold it for $30,000. Can you believe it? I mean, there were some major high rollers at the dinner the other night."
