AEROSMITH: No JOE PERRY Beef With STEVEN TYLER's Solo Plans

The Boston Herald spoke with AEROSMITH insiders about reports by Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com that Joe Perry was upset with talk that Steven Tyler would be doing a solo project. "Steven's been saying he's going to do a solo album for 10 years now," a friend of Tyler revealed. "And Joe is always saying he's got enough music for a solo album. But they've got another AEROSMITH album to put out after their break, and then they head out on tour again." As for Perry going "crazy" after hearing the news, the source added, "Why would he? Because if Steven is going to put out a solo album, it won't be for a while."
