As previously reported, AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry recently told syndicated columnist Marilyn Beck that the group will take a year off after they wrap up their Japanese tour on July 25. According to Perry, the band haven't had a vacation of longer than three weeks over the past four years and will use some of the downtime to work on some side projects. The group will also appear in the upcoming "Get Shorty" sequel "Be Cool", starring John Travolta and Uma Thurman.
