AEROSMITH Singer Says He Is Not A BUSH Supporter

The Boston Globe reports: "You really can't believe everything you read. Last week, on the eve of the Republican National Convention, the conservative Washington Times reported President Bush has a long list of celebrity supporters, including singer Steven Tyler. Huh? Since when was AEROSMITH interested in politics? The band's L.A.-based publicist, Mitch Schneider, called to say that while Tyler may have been a Bush supporter at one point, he's 'taking another direction.' John Kerry? Ralph Nader? Schneider would only say, 'Steven's taking another direction.'"
