ALESTORM Announces New Drummer

Scottish folk/power metal band ALESTORM has announced the addition of drummer Alex "Hasselhoff" Tabisz to the group's ranks. "He is from Hamburg in Germany and has already proven himself as an exellent addition to the lineup with his amazing drum skills, hilarious and brilliant guy to hang out with, native German speaker and his uncanny ability to find the only open pub in China town in London at 1:00am!" says the group's guitarist, Gavin Harper.

ALESTORM released its debut album, "Captain Morgan's Revenge", in January through Napalm Records.

According to a press release, the quartet "plays Scottish 'pirate metal,' by their own definition, and musically resembles the great battle metal bands such as KORPIKLAANI or TURISAS, albeit with a unique touch and Scottish instrumentation."
