AMERICAN DOG Sign European Record Deal

Columbus, Ohio-based AMERICAN DOG, featuring former SALTY DOG bassist Michael Hannon, have signed a new European deal with Phoenix/Sony Records out of Hamburg, Germany. The biker-styled label is famous for handling the promotions of MOTÖRHEAD, DORO, ROSE TATTOO and MOLLY HATCHET. Longtime manager Tommy Floyd stated that "it was crucial that AMERICAN DOG work with a label that completely understood the band, and would help make the needed connection with a larger audience (overseas) on this next record… In short, we have found that in Phoenix/Sony. We're all looking forward to a very successful release." AMERICAN DOG will be recording throughout the month of March at John Schwab Studios in Columbus, Ohio. Mixing will be done at Roasting House in Malmö, Sweden.
