AMORPHIS Launches Official Mobile Blog

Finnish metallers AMORPHIS have lunched an official mobile blog at Nokia's Royal Artist Club featuring fresh photos straight from the road.

AMORPHIS will enter Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki in November to record the follow-up to the "Eclipse" and "Silent Waters" albums, both of which were certified gold in the band's native Finland. Guitarist Esa Holopainen reveals, "We have been working really hard on new material and the new record should be out sometime next spring. The new material will again be very epic.”

AMORPHIS' latest album, "Silent Waters", entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 44. Released in North America on September 18, 2007, the CD is the second AMORPHIS album to feature singer Tomi Joutsen (SINISTHRA). It was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland. Mixing duties were handled by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) at Finnvox studios.
