AMULANCE Prepares To Record New Album
October 27, 2007Recently reformed metal band AMULANCE will enter the studio in November-December to record a new album. The group wants to share some of the new material with a few fans and get their feedback. If you are interested, contact the band via their MySpace page.
Comments AMULANCE guitarist Bob Luman: "This is two-fold for us: one, it is a way to show some of our loyal fans that we are defiantly back and working; and two, they will let us know their thoughts on this new stuff." Luman continues, "The only real requirement is that after they have listened to the tunes they let us know what they think of it." Vocalist Rik Baez adds, "We are extremely pleased and excited about the new material and we want to share it with a some of the fans that have supported us for so long".
AMULANCE's as-yet-untitled new disc will be released in May or June of 2008. The band will tour to support the CD and has already been confirmed for the Headbangers Open Air festival in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany on July 24-26, 2008.
On April 21, Stormspell Records released "The Rage Within and the Aftermath". The 12-track CD included the six original songs from the ultra-rare 1987 demo, as well as six additional never-before-heard demo recordings taken from the "The Aftermath Sessions", recorded during 1988-1989, shortly after the completion of the band's acclaimed "Feel the Pain" LP.
