ANTHRAX Announce 'Warm-Up' Show In Hollywood
March 6, 2004ANTHRAX have announced a one-off date on Thursday, April 8 at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, The gig, which will serve as a "warm-up" concert for their Japanese/Australian tour, "is a show not to be missed" guitarist Scott Ian writes on the band's web site. "We're letting [the fans] know first so all of you maniacs who tore it up for us all day long at the 'What Doesn't Die' video shoot can get first chance at tickets. It's gonna sell out quick so jump on it. I'm telling you, you don't want to miss this show. All our friends from L.A., [Orange County], the 818, Ventura, Inland Empire, San Diego, etc. etc. C'mon down and mosh for real this time!!"
The Whiskey show will be ANTHRAX's first with bassist Joey Vera (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING),who is temporarily filling in for the recently departed Frank Bello. A permanent replacement for Bello has yet to be named.
