September 14, 2004APARTMENT 26, the British band featuring singer Biff Butler (son of BLACK SABBATH bassist Geezer Butler),have announced their decision to disband following their recent parting-of-the-ways with the Atlantic label. The split with Atlantic, which took place less than three months after the release of the group's sophomore album, "Music For The Massive", marked the second time the band have been dropped by a label, having previously been given their walking papers by Hollywood Records, the company that issued the group's 2000 debut, "Hallucinating".
Released in late February to mostly positive reviews, "Music for the Massive" was produced by Tchad Blake and APARTMENT 26 at Real World Studios — Peter Gabriel's state-of-the-art recording studios in Wiltshire near Bath, England.
