ARCKANUM To Release 'Antikosmos' Next Year

December 14, 2007

Swedish one-man black metal project ARCKANUM will complete the recordings for its fourth album, "Antikosmos", in early 2008. The CD will be issued sometime next year via Debemur Morti Productions.

ARCKANUM mastermind Shamaatae previously stated about the new LP: "After huge delays of the full length 'Faunaz Samgang', ARCKANUM decided to re-write the album and re-title it to 'Antikosmos'. All the years which passed by I, Shamaatae, developed in a great amount personally and black magically, and by that ARCKANUM developed with me. And when I went through the material and concept of the lyrics I felt at once that this did not represent me or ARCKANUM anymore. So I took the initiative to re-write the lyrics, which ended up reflecting my worship of the anti-cosmic thursian powers of the Old Norse religion, and my workings of the dark runes. I have re-written about half of the music, because I felt I could improve it, so I did."
