ARES KINGDOM: West Coast Tour Cancelled

November 7, 2006

Kansas City's self-proclaimed "only death/thrash metal band" ARES KINGDOM has issued the following update:

"ARES KINGDOM regrets to announce that Mike's [Miller, drums] wife became ill and was hospitalized on October 31st, forcing us to cancel our upcoming West Coast tour dates. We had hoped circumstances would change in the last couple of days and allow the tour to go on, but unfortunately they have not. We sincerely apologize to our friends and fans that have been looking forward to the tour as much as we were, as well as the promoters and venues that worked hard to set up the shows. We wish Mike's wife a full and speedy recovery, and we will work to reschedule the dates as soon as possible."

ARES KINGDOM released its latest CD, "Return to Dust", this past spring through NWN! Productions. Gatefold LPs included a poster while the "Die Hard" limited-edition picture discs came withh a bonus 7" EP featuring the band's acclaimed 1998 demo, sticker and an embroidered patch. Regular and "Die Hard" editions include a poster.
