ARMY OF ANYONE: First Tour Dates Announced
October 19, 2006ARMY OF ANYONE fans will finally get the chance to see the band live when they head out this November for their first-ever live shows. The group will kick off the dates November 18 in Philadelphia and play live shows through the end of the year before embarking on a full-scale tour in 2007.
"We can not wait to get out there and play these songs in front of a live audience," says the band's Richard Patrick. "We've had a great time doing live on air radio performances. But to be out there in front of a live crowd, that's what we’ve all been waiting for.”
Look for ARMY OF ANYONE — vocalist Richard Patrick, ex-FILTER; guitarist Dean DeLeo and bassist Robert DeLeo, both formerly of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS; and Ray Luzier, drums — to perform material from their previous catalogues alongside tracks from their self-titled debut, due out November 14 via Firm Music. One of the songs on the set list is "Goodbye", the hard rocking and melodically expansive first single from the album which is already a top 15 song in only one month.
"Army of Anyone" was recorded at The Village studios in Santa Monica with producer Bob Ezrin (PINK FLOYD, KISS, JANE'S ADDICTION).
