ARMY OF ANYONE To Debut First Video Tomorrow

Launch Radio Networks reports: ARMY OF ANYONE, the band featuring former members of FILTER and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, will premiere its first video tomorrow (Tuesday, October 3) on Yahoo! Music. The clip is for the song "Goodbye", which comes off the band's self-titled debut album, due out on November 14. Singer Richard Patrick told Launch that the song has an especially personal meaning for him. "I'm in a program of recovery, and unfortunately I've had to experience a lot of loss in that program," he said. "A lot of young lives have ended in front of me, and a lot of great people that have a disease have died. It's hard to deal with. And it's just a very simple song about loss and having to say goodbye. It's not the easiest thing to do."

Patrick got clean and sober just over four years ago, on September 28, 2002. He has the date tattooed on his arm.

The video for "Goodbye" was shot in late August in Los Angeles.

ARMY OF ANYONE made its live debut on September 20 with a surprise rooftop performance at a restaurant in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The band, which features ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS members Robert DeLeo on bass and Dean DeLeo on guitar in addition to former FILTER frontman Patrick, will begin a promotional radio tour on Wednesday (October 4) that will last until the record's arrival.

ARMY OF ANYONE will head out on a full U.S. tour later this fall.
