AS I LAY DYING: Fans Needed For MTV2 'Headbanger's Ball' Taping

AS I LAY DYING vocalist Tim Lambesis has posted the following message on the band's official web site.

"I will be making an appearance this Friday, June 16th at 1pm in the MTV studios for a 'Headbanger's Ball' interview. MTV has decided to allow a handful of fans to come up to their studios at 1515 Broadway, New York City to hang as well. If you are in the New York City area and would like to be a part of this, please email your name, phone number, and email address to [email protected] a.s.a.p. to let us know. There are only a limited number of fans that MTV has room for so please respond quickly."

AS I LAY DYING recently re-released their first two recordings, previously out on Pluto Records, via Metal Blade Records. The set includes both a re-recorded and the original version of the band's split CD with AMERICAN TRAGEDY (originally issued in 2002),plus their first album, "Beneath the Encasing of Ashes" (2001).

AS I LAY DYING's third album, "Shadows Are Security", was released in June 2005.
