ATROCITY: New Album To Surface In April

December 14, 2003

The recordings for the new ATROCITY album, entitled "Atlantis", are in full swing. The concept album is being produced at Mastersound Studio in Fellbach, Germany and will be released on April 26, 2004 through Napalm Records.

There are currently three candidates for the single release, which will be out in stores March 1: "Cold Black Days", "Enigma" and "Sunken Paradise". A video clip will be shot for one of these songs in January.

Singer and producer Alex Krull commented: "We intend to stage the concept album about Atlantis with great expenses. It's a great theme and it contains many interesting facts and it has stayed one of the mysterious phenomenas with all its myths and legends until today. Because of that, the musical side will not be one-dimensional at all. There will be absolutely brutal and bombastic songs with incredible heaviness as well as very atmospheric and melodic songs. 'Atlantis' is exactly the right material for this band to give top speed."

A demo version of the new ATROCITY track "Gods of Nations" will appear on the Napalm Records compilation "V" and the 20th anniversary Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg sampler.
