Australia's DIABOLIX Reform

Matt B., co-founding member of the acclaimed Australian thrash metal band DIABOLIX has resurrected the group after the band originally called it quits in 2001. The thrash metal quartet is now a solo project of founder Matt B. with a massive new direction:

'Toward the end of DIABOLIX in 2001 I was becoming very unhappy with the way the band was going (a more commercial hard rock sound) so being founding member I had to put a stop to it. With this reformation of DIABOLIX, the former members will not be rejoining me as our musical differences are too great.

"Although I still am a huge fan of metal, I feel the need to try something different so I have been working on more gothic/industrial electronica sort of music."

DIABOLIX are currently working on material and a hoping for a mid-2004 release date of the E.P. "Beyond". A web site will be launched soon.
