Australia's TABERAH Releases New Track, Seeks Label Home
January 15, 2013Australian metallers TABERAH and Germany's Rock N Growl Management/Booking are shopping the band's recently completed second album, "MMXII", to interested record labels.
A track from the CD, "2012", can be streamed below.
Formed in 2004, TABERAH's sound and live performance is derived from a vast range of influences, including the traditional heavy metal stylings of IRON MAIDEN and BLACK SABBATH, the rock and roll swagger of AC/DC and THIN LIZZY mixed with the over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek theatrics of QUEEN and THE DARKNESS. All with a slightly modern and original twist.
TABERAH quickly became a staple act in the Tasmanian live music scene in 2006 and has established itself as one of Tasmania's top exports. In early 2011, TABERAH blitzed a nationwide vote, then were handpicked by Lemmy Kilmister himself to open for MOTÖRHEAD at the Sydney stop of their 2011 Australian tour.
2011 saw TABERAH record and release their debut album, "The Light Of Which I Dream", with acclaimed producer Joe Haley of PSYCROPTIC.
