AVA INFERI: New Album Title Announced

April 23, 2008

Portugal's AVA INFERI has set "Blood of Bacchus" as the title of its third album, due later in the year via Season of Mist. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Fireflies", "A Witch She Was, The Witch I Am", "Lights", "Last Sign of Summer" and "All the Colours of the Dark".

Commented guitarist Rune Eriksen (a.k.a. ex-MAYHEM guitarist/songwriter Blasphemer): "We, or perhaps I, must confess that this is easily the most interesting album I've been writing on ever. It surely has it all, and we are quite confortable with the outcome of everything to this point. From our more conscious moments of theatric gothic doom to enchanting Bacchanalian rituals. This is the album that will carve our name deep into the memories of moder earth. A pure and true moment of music. We are also in talks with some long-running and highly regarded studios for us to expand our universe even further."

He added, "Several live shows has also been confirmed now, and more will definitely come as the month develops. So far we have three shows in Portugal confirmed, the Hellfest case announced, one in Norway plus also [to-be-announced] appearances in Northern Ireland, Denmark and Bulgaria within the fall of this year."
