AZARATH Parts Ways With Frontman, Announces Replacement
December 17, 2009Bassist/vocalist Bruno has left Polish black/death metallers AZARATH in order to "focus on his private life." He has since been replaced by Necrosodom (ANIMA DAMNATA, THUNDERBOLT, THRONEUM).
AZARATH's fourth album, "Praise the Beast", was released earlier in the year via Agonia Records. The effort contains 10 new songs and was made available as a standard CD, LP and limited digipack with a bonus track.
The drum tracks for the follow-up to "Diabolic Impious Evil" were recorded at Radio Gdansk (the same studio where BEHEMOTH recorded "The Apostasy") while the other instruments are being tracked at the Progresja Studio in Warsaw. AZARATH once again worked with engineer Arkadiusz "Malta" Malczewski during the album recordings.
