BACKYARD BABIES Interviewed At Germany's 'Games Convention'; Video Available
September 29, 2008Swedish sleaze rockers BACKYARD BABIES were interviewed at this year's Games Convention (sometimes called the Leipzig Games Convention, and abbreviated as GC),an annual video game event in Leipzig, Germany. The band performed at the August 2008 conference, which covered videogames, infotainment, hardware and edutainment.

BACKYARD BABIES will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Friday, October 10 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio program, dubbed "The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show". The latest, self-titled album from BACKYARD BABIES topped the chart in the band's home country in its first week of release. The CD also entered the Finnish album chart at No. 31.
Released in Europe on August 18 via Billion Dollar Babies/Spinefarm, "Backyard Babies" was recorded during 90 sweaty days and nights at Polar and Big Island Sound studios in Stockholm with producer Jacob Hellner (RAMMSTEIN, APOCALYPTICA).
BACKYARD BABIES released its fifth studio full-length album, "People Like People Like People Like Us", in April 2006 via Century Media Records.
