BALTIMOORE: New Lineup Announced

Mainman Björn Lodin of the Swedish hard rockers BALTIMOORE has issued the following update:

"It's been an eventful past 12 months for BALTIMOORE, and for a while I wasn't sure I wanted to pick up the pieces and start again, but here we are now, with a terrific new line-up and great new original songs.

"It's truly an honor to have Mikael Nord Andersson (NORD, PRIVATE EYE, ROXETTE) back in the band. He did background vocals on the first two BALTIMOORE albums, and is now featured as both guitarist and lead/backing vocalist! The rest of the guys are all new players: Janne Stark (OVERDRIVE, LOCOMOTIVE BREATH, MOUNTAIN OF POWER) - guitar, Robert Bäck - drums and Björn Lundqvist - bass/vocals.

"All songwriting for this project is done by Janne and myself and we've already started recording. I am pleased to say BALTIMOORE is on a new journey, taking yet another direction and breaking new grounds!

"Release date for the album is still pending. Stay tuned!"

BALTIMOORE released a DVD-R earlier in the year containing footage taken at the band's December 17, 2006 gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in Stockholm, Sweden. The DVD-R also includes an interview with the group and videos for the songs "Wellaway" and "Give Me What You've Got". The interview is in Swedish, but it has English subtitles.
