Bassist RUDY SARZO Featured In New 'The Right To Rock' Podcast
August 16, 2007TheRighttoRock.com has has issued its latest podcast (episode #26),featuring bassist/author Rudy Sarzo (DIO, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, QUIET RIOT, OZZY OSBOURNE, WHITESNAKE). Rudy discusses his new book "Off the Rails", as well as what he has been up to since DIO went on hiatus. Rudy digs deep into the past to give the listeners the skinny on his career, as well his love for computer animation. The interview lasts approximately 45 minutes and can be heard at this location.
This past June, Sarzo officially joined BLUE ÖYSTER CULT as bassist for the balance of 2007. A longtime friend of the band, Rudy will play with BLUE ÖYSTER CULT until Ronnie James Dio returns from touring with HEAVEN AND HELL (Rudy is the current bassist in Ronnie's band DIO).
Rudy and BLUE ÖYSTER CULT singer Eric Bloom have been friends since meeting up at "Hear 'N Aid" in 1985. Eric says that "Buck and I are really happy to have Rudy playing bass with us. He's a great fit and a great guy."
