BLACK CROWES Guitarist To Release Solo Album
June 10, 2004BLACK CROWES guitarist Rich Robinson will release his first solo album, "Paper", on August 24 through his own Key Hole Records label. Robinson sings, plays guitar, bass, keyboards on percussion on the CD, which features contributing musicians, former BLACK CROWES keyboardist Eddie Harsch and BR5-49's Donnie Herron on fiddle and pedal steel. Robinson produced the album, which was recorded in New York City earlier this year. Songtitles set to appear on "Paper" include "Enemy", "Places", "When You Will", "Leave it Alone" and "Forgiven Song".
In a statement, Robinson explained that: "I named the album 'Paper' because this is all a blank sheet of paper to me — it's fragile and new...For 15 years I wrote for Chris's voice, but this is for me."
