BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Offer 'Slighty Amped Tour' On iTunes
March 16, 2004According to the official Zakk Wylde fan site SDMFworldwide.com, Zakk Wylde and iTunes have teamed up to offer fans an opportunity to download music from the "Slightly Amped Tour", recorded in 2002 at Westwire Studios in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This tuned-downed acoustic, sometimes electric performance is a rarity and offers Zakk Wylde and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY fans another side of the band seldom seen or heard.
As previously reported, the new BLACK LABEL SOCIETY album, "Hangover Music Vol. VI" (view cover here),will be released on April 20 through Spitfire Records. "Hangover Music Vol. VI" is mostly acoustic- and piano-based, much like Zakk's 1996 solo album "Book Of Shadows". Mike Inez (ALICE IN CHAINS, OZZY OSBOURNE),James Lomenzo (PRIDE & GLORY, WHITE LION),and J.D. all share bass duties on the album while drummer John Tempesta (ROB ZOMBIE, TESTAMENT, EXODUS) makes a guest appearance on one track. Contrary to previous reports, Brian Tichy (OZZY OSBOURNE, BILLY IDOL) does not appear on the album.
"Hangover Music Vol. VI" marks BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's final album for Spitfire Records under the terms of the group's present agreement with the label.
