BLACK SABBATH Guitarist Selects Daughter's Band As Unsigned Act Of Week
January 28, 2006LUNARMILE (Photo#1, Photo#2, Photo#3),the British band featuring frontwoman Toni-Marie (daughter of BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi) and bassist bassist Alex Hill (son of JUDAS PRIEST bassist Ian Hill),will have their track "I Know" played on the U.K. radio this Sunday (Jan. 29) on Tony Iommi's "Black Sunday" show on Planet Rock as his unsigned choice for this week.
Planet Rock had previously issued the following description of Iommi's program: "Each week, Tony will be joined by colleagues and friends from all walks of life who indulge in a common passion for rock music. He will also share his experiences from over 30 years at the top table of rock’s aristocracy, and reveal the stories behind BLACK SABBATH's most famous songs. Tony will also invite unsigned bands to send in their demos and will play his pick on air." [The "Unsigned" slot is usually between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. U.K. time.]
