BLACK STONE CHERRY Guitarist Checks In From The Road
November 27, 2006BLACK STONE CHERRY guitarist Ben Wells has posted a lengthy report on the first week and a half of the band's tour as the support act for BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. Read it at the band's official MySpace blog.
BLACK STONE CHERRY's self-titled debut album landed at No. 90 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart in late July, selling more than 10,000 copies in its first week of release.
Even though the members of BLACK STONE CHERRY grew up together in the same small Kentucky town, drummer John Fred Young previously told Launch that the group is adjusting well to living and traveling on the road. "It's different, you know," he said. "It's different from just doing two or three dates and coming back home. And, you know, we grew up as brothers and definitely, you know, we thought we knew each other really well, and now we even know each other more. It's very different but it's fun, yeah."
