BLACK TEMPLE: New Album To Feature ENSIFERUM, AJATTARA Members

August 18, 2008

Finland's BLACK TEMPLE — which is said to be "the world's first kung-fu metal band" — has announced plans to release a new single entitled "Party Material". The CD was recorded at Helsinki Underground Studios, mixed by Mikko Karmila (CHILDREN OF BODOM, NIGHTWISH, LORDI) and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox studio in Helsinki.

More like a solo project than a band, BLACK TEMPLE was founded by Finnish/Thai composer, lyricist, singer and guitarist Tang.

The lineup for the single is as follows:

Tang: Vocals & Guitars
Vesa Mattila: Bass
Leonard: Drums
Alexi Parviainen: Backing Vocals

BLACK TEMPLE will enter the studio this month to begin recording its new full-length album with the following lineup:

Tang: Vocals Lead Guitar
Vesa Wahlroos (AJATTARA): Rhythm Guitar
Janne Parviainen (ENSIFERUM, WALTARI, SINERGY): Drums
Joel Attila (VALVET, LOWE MOTOR CORPORATION): Bass
Alexi Parviainen (NORTHERN KINGS, ENSIFERUM): Backing Vocals
