BLACKEST OF THE BLACK Tour: More Details Revealed

August 21, 2003

The fall 2003 edition of the "Blackest Of The Black" tour will feature headliners DANZIG alongside SUPERJOINT RITUAL, DEVILDRIVER, MORBID ANGEL, and BEHEMOTH, according to an online posting by DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara. SEPULTURA, whose latest CD, "Roorback", will receive its long-awaited U.S. release on August 26, are also said to be in talks to join the package. "I'm hearing the first date is October 15th," says Fafara. "We're rehearsing every night for this one. We'd like to say what a gigantic honor it is to play with all these bands, and here's a little known fact: DANZIG gave my previous band its first tour ever, and now here he comes on a shining black horse to do the same for DEVILDRIVER. This guy is true blue rock-n-roll royalty, and I thank him from the bottom of my heart."
