BLACKMORE'S NIGHT: RITCHIE And CANDICE To Guest On NY Public Television

An exclusive premiere of BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's "Castles & Dreams" is scheduled for Monday, January 30 at 8:00 p.m. on WLIW21 New York Public Television. Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (ex-DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW) and vocalist/fiancée Candice Night will appear live in the studio to speak about their new DVD, experiences on the road, and upcoming tour and studio CD. The couple might even give an impromptu performance.

As previously reported, BLACKMORE'S NIGHT will release their new album, "Village Lanterne", on January 25 in Japan. The Japanese version will have a bonus track called "Once In a Garden". The European release is scheduled for February 6.

BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's recently entered the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart at position No. 38 with their newest single, "Christmas Eve". The track comes off BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's "Beyond the Sunset - The Romantic Collection", which came out in September 2004. "Christmas Eve" was one of three bonus Christmas songs included on the CD, alongside "We Three Kings" and "Emmanuel".
