BLISS 66 Frontman Auditions For Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Band

November 18, 2002

Cheyenne Goff of the Michigan-based BLISS 66 is among the singers that have auditioned for the vacant vocalist slot in the new band formed by ex-GUNS N' ROSES members Slash (guitar),Duff McKagan (bass),Matt Sorum (drums),and Izzy Stradlin (guitar). According to Slash's Official Fan Site (www.snakepit.org),Goff tried out for the group by writing lyrics and recording vocals for two of the four tracks sent to him, which he has dubbed "Pills" and "Got You Where I Want You".

As previously reported, the group, which has reportedly written more than 40 songs since forming earlier in the year, is still on the lookout for a suitable lead vocalist, having previously auditioned ex-BUCKCHERRY frontman Joshua Todd and current NEUROTICA singer Kelly Shaefer, among others.

Although Izzy is said to be involved in the writing process for the group's upcoming debut album, he will not be touring with the band, who have now officially recruited McKagan's LOADED bandmate Dave Kushner as a session guitarist for all live appearances in support of the CD.
