BRIAN PERRY Leaves PRONG

April 23, 2003

Bassist Brian Perry has left PRONG. No reason was given for his departure. Perry has previously played with JAKE E. LEE, LIZZY BORDEN, and DIRTY LOOKS and was featured on PRONG's recently-issued live album, "100% Live". For more information, visit Perry's official web site at www.brianperry.net.

PRONG have just completed work on their as-yet-untitled new album for a June European release through Locomotive Music. The CD, which was produced by PRONG mainman Tommy Victor and Steve Bruno, marks the group's first studio effort since 1996's "Rude Awakening". A North American release — possibly through Koch Entertainment following the closing of Locomotive's U.S. office late last year — is expected in the summer.
