BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Fail To Land Slot On AEROSMITH/KISS Tour

April 4, 2003

MÖTLEY CRÜE/BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message to the "Rock'n'Roll Diary" section of CRÜE's official web site:

"As you've heard, Mr. [John] Corabi has left the building. We're all the greatest of friends and there is nothing but respect and love for each other... We each have our own journey and as long as we don't end up in JOURNEY... Well, you get the idea... I really wanted a second guitarist, but I guess I'm doomed to playing only with one guitarist. Can't really complain about Mick Mars or Tracii Guns... Except there [sic] both short… Hahha… We've rehearsed up a bunch of new tunes... Will finalize our record deals and go make the album in 6-8 weeks...

"We were the other band that was up for the opening slot on the KISS/AEROSMITH tour and we were honored to be considered right 'till the bitter end considering we haven't even recorded a record yet... Says a lot about the KISS-AERO guys to consider and unsigned band for support... We're happy for SALIVA and now have a little more time to focus on the new music...

"Actually the phones been ringing off the hook since the SALIVA track is taking off, so looks like more writing for other artist is in the works...

"More to come (always)."
