BRING ME THE HORIZON Confirms Guitarist's Departure, Vows To Continue Touring
March 19, 2009Visible Noise and Raw Power Management have confirmed guitarist Curtis Ward's departure from U.K. metalcore act BRING ME THE HORIZON.
Currently in the U.S. on the Rockstar Taste Of Chaos Tour, Curtis and the band have made the mutual decision to part ways based on personal differences, but remain firm friends as they have done since the group's inception in Sheffield in 2004.
BRING ME THE HORIZON's label and management wish to emphasize that all live dates, festivals and tours will be played, with a stand-in guitarist — the band's guitar technician, and integral part of the touring party, Dean Rowbotham.
BRING ME THE HORIZON will return to Europe this summer for festivals all over the continent, then head to Russia, Japan, Indonesia and Australasia, before touring the U.K. October 22-26.
