British Metal Veterans To Headline Benefit For Victims Of Rhode Island Tragedy
March 12, 2003British heavy metal veterans TYGERS OF PAN TANG and OLIVER DAWSON SAXON will headline a special benefit event for the victims and the families affected by the fire at the GREAT WHITE concert in West Warwick, Rhode Island on Feb. 20.
The concert, dubbed "Rhode Island Remembers", will take place on Saturday, April 19 at The Fiddlers Club in Bristol, England and will feature a "strong selection of classic rock," according to an official press release.

All proceeds will be divided between the Ty Longley Foundation and the local aid fund run by the Centresville Bank in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Both have been set up to help people who have lost relatives, been injured or who have otherwise suffered as a result of the fire.
