CAMP FREDDY Play NASCAR Event: Photos Available

CAMP FREDDY, the Los Angeles-based "jam" band featuring JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro, former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar),ex-JANE'S ADDICTION drummer Stephen Perkins, and vocalist Donovan Leitch (the son of 1960s U.K. folk-rock icon Donovan),played a NASCAR event e California Speedway in Fontana, CA last Saturday (Sept. 4). The band broadcast their weekly radio show, "Camp Freddy Radio", on Indie 103.1 FM live from the racetrack, before playing an hour long set. They were joined onstage by Steve Jones from THE SEX PISTOLS, Billy Duffy from THE CULT, Josh Todd from BUCKCHERRY, Jerry Cantrell from ALICE IN CHAINS, and actress Juliette Lewis. As previously reported, CAMP FREDDY entered a Los Angeles studio in January to begin recording their all-star "covers" album for Sanctuary Records. A 2005 release is expected.
