Canadian OZZY OSBOURNE Fan Ordered To Seek Help

Tony Blais of the Edmonton Sun reports: An Edmonton [Alberta, Canada] woman who assaulted three security guards at an OZZY OSBOURNE concert was yesterday put on probation and ordered to take an anger management course.

Noelle Nicole King, 20, was given a suspended sentence and placed on nine months probation after pleading guilty in provincial court to two counts of assault.

"It sounds like you should have left all the bad behaviour to Mr. Osbourne that night," quipped Judge Robert Philp, referring to the aging heavy metal rocker's bad-boy image, which includes once chewing off the head of a bat.

Crown prosecutor Chantelle Washenfelder told court King had gone with her boyfriend to Osbourne's Oct. 22 concert at Rexall Place, but her boyfriend was kicked out.

When a security guard informed her of the ejection, King became agitated and swore at the guard and ripped up her ticket and threw it at him, said Washenfelder.

At this point the security guard told King that she was being kicked out as well and the petite fireball responded by spitting in his face, said Washenfelder.

King was arrested and detained pending the arrival of police in a holding facility where she proceeded to kick two other security guards in the legs, said Washenfelder.

Court heard the incident was "very much out of character" for King, who was described as a drug store employee with no previous criminal record.

King denied alcohol was involved and her lawyer said she had been under a lot of stress after having given up her daughter for adoption around the time of the concert.

Philp ordered King to have a psychiatric assessment to determine if she requires treatment or counselling. She must also perform 50 hours of community service.
