CANCERSLUG To Enter Studio In October

September 22, 2008

Long-running Alabama outfit CANCERSLUG will enter Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida in October to begin recording its first official release in the band's 10-year history. Respected producer Brian Elliott will helm the as-yet-untitled album, which will feature appearances by Randy Butman and Jack Goodwin of PATHS OF POSSESSION and Erin Fuller of HELL ON EARTH.

Commented CANCERSLUG singer Alex Story: "Out of the 200-plus demos that have circulated on the Internet over the last decade, this will be the first disc to truly do the songs and the band justice... We are looking at this as the CANCERSLUG debut."

CANCERSLUG is planning on recording about 30 tracks for the album.
