CATALEPSY Singer Forced To Sit Out Summer Tour; Temporary Replacement Announced
June 2, 2008Florida-based six-piece hardcore-influenced death metal band CATALEPSY has issued the following update:
"Our current vocalist Josh Anderson is undergoing emergency surgery this summer and will not be able to tour for this summer. He has Crohn's disease and it has gotten severe, so he will have to bow down for the summer to rest and heal himself so he can tour in the future! Filling his shoes will be our good friend Rick Norman (ex-IN THE RUINS). Everyone send Josh your best wishes as he takes this summer off to rest and heal."
CATALEPSY's full-length debut, "Iniquity", was released earlier in the year via Stillborn Records, the label headed up by HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta. The CD was recorded at Tampa's Mana Studios with producer Brian Elliott.
