Swedish melodic metallers CLOUDSCAPE have inked a licensing deal with the German label Metal Heaven for the release of their debut album. The self-titled CD is scheduled for release in Europe on January 29, 2005. A Japanese release through Marquee/Avalon is expected on December 21, 2004.

"Cloudscape" was recorded at RoastingHouse Studios in Malmö, Sweden with producers Anders "Theo" Theander (PAIN OF SALVATION, LAST TRIBE, PATHOS) and Pontus Lindmark. The CD contains 12 songs and one bonus track for Asia. Acclaimed guitarist Torben Enevoldsen (SECTION A) contributes a guest solo to the album's opening cut, "As the Light Leads the Way".
