CLOVEN HOOF recently parted ways with vocalist Russ North and replaced him with Matt Moreton.

Matt was the powerhouse vocalist on the critically acclaimed "Eye Of The Sun" album.

Russ North announced in October that he was leaving CLOVEN HOOF to pursue a solo singing career away from heavy metal.

CLOVEN HOOF members Lee Payne (bass),Jon Brown (drums) and Ben Read (guitar) are in pre-production for their next album with producer Tom Galley (PHENOMENA). It is scheduled for release later in 2010 and will be CLOVEN HOOF's "darkest and most epic-like opus yet," according to a posting on the band's web site.

CLOVEN HOOF last year announced the addition of guitarist Mick Powell to the group's ranks. He made his live debut with the band at the Rock of Ages festival in Belgium on October 17, 2009.

CLOVEN HOOF re-recorded 24 of its classic songs for a two-part "best-of" compilation, "The Definitive Part One" and "The Definitive Part Two".
