CROWBAR: Photos From Last Night's New Orleans Concert Available
May 27, 2007Several photos from last night's (May 26) CROWBAR show at The Hangar in New Orleans have been posted online at NolaUnderground.com (scroll down for pictures). This was CROWBAR's first post-Hurricane Katrina appearance in their hometown. Also on the bill were VALUME NOB and SINKHOLE, which features former members of New Orleans bands FALL FROM GRACE and GRAVEYARD RODEO.
A rare video clip of the pre-CROWBAR band THE SLUGS performing "A Breed Apart / Waiting In Silence" live on May 1, 1990 at Storvyville Jazz Hall in New Orleans, Louisiana has been posted online at YouTube.com. The group's lineup in the video was as follows:
Kirk Windstein: Guitar / Vocals
Jimmy Bower: Drums
Todd "Sexy T" Strange: Bass
Kevin Noonan: Guitar
Formed out of the ashes of SHELL SHOCK, AFTERSHOCK and WREQUIEM, THE SLUGS existed between 1989 and 1991 before the band renamed itself CROWBAR and went on to release seven full-length albums, including 2005's "Lifesblood For The Downtrodden".
