CRYPTOPSY Pays Respects To DIMEBAG DARRELL: Photo Available

Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY stopped by "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) grave in Arlington, Texas during their latest U.S. tour to pay their respects. Check out a photo at PivotalRage.com.

As previously reported, a pre-production recording of a new CRYPTOPSY track, entitled "Carrionshine", has been posted online in MP3 format at this location (5 MB).

"Carrionshine" is scheduled to appear on the Canadian death metallers' fifth album, which will be recorded over the summer for a late 2005 release via Century Media Records. "Each song has a very unique identity and some of the material is a progression from what you’ve heard from CRYPTOPSY in the past," the band recently said about the new compositions. "The album concept has a very distinct beginning and end."
