DAATH Seek New Drummer

Atlanta-based technical death metallers DAATH have launched a search for a new drummer. All applicants "must have extreme metal chops, be able to play to a click, and be able to play electronica type cymbal patterns as well as have good independence skills," the band write in a press release. Interested parties can go to www.daathmusic.com and listen to "Child Says", "Placenta", and "Filter", or e-mail the group at [email protected].

As previously reported, DAATH have recruited former DEATH/TESTAMENT guitarist James Murphy to mix their second album, tentatively titled "The Hinderers". An early 2005 release is expected.
