DARK EMBRACE Drops Off All But One Date On WATAIN Spanish Tour
April 5, 2008Spanish act DARK EMBRACE has been removed from the billing of all but one date on the upcoming Spanish tour by the Swedish black metal band WATAIN. DARK EMBRACE will still join WATAIN at Cervecera Dublin in Carballo on April 19.
Commented DARK EMBRACE vocalist Oscar Asunder: "It was not the DARK EMBRACE fault. Even as some of you know most of the dates were organized and booked by myself, but our partners of Icon Music Agency decided that we were allowed to play only one of these dates. If you want explanations or even if you want us to book for other tour or a single date, please contact Icon Music Agency at [email protected]. I'm sorry for all of you that were waiting to see us live and to share darkness and destruction."
DARK EMBRACE's debut album, "The Rebirth of Darkness", was released in 2006. The CD was recorded at Stage One studios in Borgentreich, Germany with producer Andy Classen (CALLENISH CIRCLE, DEW-SCENTED, TANKARD, OCCULT). The drum tracks on the album were laid down by Moritz Neuner, who previously played with ATROCITY and LEAVES' EYES. The cover artwork was created by Jarno Lahti.
