DAVE MUSTAINE Talks About His New Signature Model DEAN Guitars
February 6, 2010MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine was interviewed by Jose Mangin, on-air personality and program director for Sirius XM and guest host of MTV2's "Headbangers Ball", at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 14-17, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. According to Kotaku.com, all the tracks from MEGADETH's iconic 1990 album "Rust In Peace" will be added to the Rock Band Music Store on Tuesday, Harmonix has announced. The tracks will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii versions of Rock Band.
The album is available for the 360 and Wii on Tuesday (February 9),and for PS3 on Thursday (February 11). There are nine tracks in all, and they'll be available for $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU, or 160 Microsoft Points or 200 Wii Points per track. The whole album is $14.99, £7.49 UK, €10.99 EU or 1200 Microsoft Points.
"Rust In Peace", commonly cited among the top 5 of the metal genre's most influential works, joins MEGADETH's "Peace Sells ... But Who's Buying?" from 1986 on the Music Store.
MEGADETH will join forces with TESTAMENT and EXODUS for a month-long jaunt that will find these thrash titans crisscrossing the nation on the "Rust in Peace" twentieth anniversary tour. These will be incredibly special shows that will delight MEGADETH fans, as the band will be playing "Rust in Peace" in its entirety, in addition to other MEGADETH setlist favorites.
The tour will kick off on March 1 in Spokane, Washington and will run through the end of the month.
