DEEP PURPLE Guitarist STEVE MORSE: Footage From Montana Workshop Available

DEEP PURPLE guitarist Steve Morse took part in a workshop on July 2, 2008 at Music Villa in Bozeman, Montana. An excerpt from the workshop on technique and alternate picking sponsored by DiMarzio, Music Man and Music Villa as well as an interview can be viewed below (footage uploaded by Dimarzio).

Steve Morse will hold a guitar clinic in Bocholt on November 13 before the PURPLE show in Oberhausen, Germany. He will present his Music Man signature guitar. The clinic will be held at the Alte Molkerei and will start at 16:00 (doors open at 15:00). Entrance is free, but interested parties are advised to make reservations by e-mailing Jochen Methling at [email protected].

Morse is one of the musicians featured on the "We Wish You A Metal Christmas and a Headbanging New Year" album, due in the U.S. on October 14 via Amoury Records and Black Ion Music. The CD features hard rock and heavy metal's finest giving their own unique twist to Christmas classics old and new. Also appearing on the album are Alice Cooper, Lemmy Kilmister, Ronnie James Dio, Dave Grohl, Billy Gibbons, Tony Iommi and more.
