DEF LEPPARD Finalize Release Date For "X"

DEF LEPPARD have set July 30th as the North American release date for their tenth studio album, entitled X. The CD is expected to surface in Japan on July 24th and in Europe on July 29th.

As previously reported, X marks the first time in DEF LEPPARD's history that they have collaborated with more than one producer on a single album (compilations Retro Active and Vault not included),with the follow-up to 1999's Euphoria set to include tracks produced by Pete Woodruffe, Marti Frederiksen (i.e. AEROSMITH),Andreas Carlsson ('N SYNC, BACKSTREET BOYS) and Per Aldeheim (ex-IT'S ALIVE guitarist and producer for ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA and LAMBRETTA, among others). A summer tour will likely follow the album's release.
