DEF LEPPARD Guitarist Offers Holiday Treats To U.S. Soldiers In Iraq

November 30, 2006

DEF LEPPARD guitarist Vivian Campbell is among the stars who appear on a 22-minute DVD which is being shipped by Studio City, California-based record company the Jewish Music Group to the U.S Military in Iraq. The DVD is being sent along with several hundred CDs featuring 12 cuts plus one hidden track. The accompanying booklet includes a complete Chutzpah 162-word Jewish/Yiddish glossary and a foreword written by the queen of punk, Debbie Harry.

JMG's David McLees noted, "The holiday appropriateness of the track "Chanukah's Da Bomb" on this particular CD seemed a perfect gift to give to those fighting for our freedom in Iraq. The humor along with the holiday cheer of the content seemed very appropriate."

Dean Schachtel, JMG's National Director of Sales added, "We felt the need to do something to lift the spirits of our brave men and women in Iraq. We're pleased to bring some music and some laughs to the troops."
